Dear MN State Fair, we miss you. Like, a lot. In fact, we miss all the cancelled fairs and festivals that never stood a chance this year. Sometimes it starts to feel like summer itself was cancelled. Luckily, the warm weather hasn’t left us quite yet!
Everyone knows warm weather is precious to us Minnesotans. In a normal year, every weekend would be jam packed with festivals and fairs, leading up to the most important one of all: The MN State Fair (which, not-so-fun-fact, would have started today). While we won’t be able to enjoy the great Minnesota get-together this year, at Rock What You Got, plan to make the most of what we’ve got with a little socially distanced get-together of our own!
Come enjoy the final glimmers of warm weather with us this September 26th at the Pay Gap Comedy & Music Festival. Lose yourself in this full day of laughter, music, and shopping at the spacious outdoor West End Market on the MN State Fair grounds.
This event will be completely outdoors and follow all the state-required safety protocols such as social distancing, capacity limitations, and required face masks (with exceptions for eating and drinking the concessions provided by the MN State Fair). That said, we want this event to be fun and relaxing for everyone! This year has been stressful. We all deserve to take some time to safely unwind with friends.
Let’s Have Some MN State Fair-style Fun!
Starting at 10am, shop with local small businesses and artisans in our festival marketplace. Your business will directly help the vendors in our community recover from the impact of COVID-19.
After that, settle in for an afternoon of country and soul music. Starting at 3:30pm, enjoy performances by the Devon Worley Band, Kat Perkins, and the Steele Sisters – Jearlyn & Jevetta, accompanied by Billy Steele on the piano!
Full & half-day tickets are available in addition to marketplace only tickets – but don’t wait! Tickets are very limited. Click here to read more about this event and get your tickets today!
