FREE FESTIVAL ENTRY

Get outside to shop local, laugh, and rock out. Festival entry and parking are FREE to shop local, eat, and be entertained in the marketplace. Twin Cities Pride has dazzling entertainment at the Pride Circle. ‘Pay What You Can’ to see national and local comedy and music at the main stage. Contributions include a livestream link if you can’t make it in.

FUN + IMPACT
This event is produced by Rock What You Got™ and supports driving gender equity in partnership with Twin Cities Pride, WoMN ACT, and the FINNEGANS Community Food Fund. Bring non-perishable food to donate to help keep local food shelves stocked. Bid in the silent and live auction to support social justice.

Rock What You Got™ is committed to creating a fun and safe festival for guests, vendors, performers and team members. To ensure this, new COVID 19 protocols will be implemented.

Parking
Parking is FREE! You can park right outside the festival on any of the State Fair streets or in the back entrance parking lots. Handicap accessible parking available.

Do I need a ticket to shop, eat, and attend the Pride Circle in the Marketplace?
Nope! The marketplace is free for you to shop and eat. Pay What You Can to support the stage entertainment and enjoy the show.

What vendors will be there?

Is there an ATM on-site?
Yes, an ATM will be on-site at the festival.

Can I bring my pet?
No dogs or other pets shall be allowed on the State Fairgrounds at any time unless confined or restrained on a leash of less than six (6) feet in length. In addition, dogs or other pets are not permitted in any State Fair building.
There are three (3) exceptions:
(1) Certified service animals or service animals in training.

Weather & What to Bring
The Pay Gap Festival will take place rain or shine! But, there will be overhangings to hide from rain. Still, you might want to bring:

  • Sunscreen
  • Sun hat
  • Sunglasses
  • Raincoat
  • Umbrella – but don’t block the view!
  • Blankets + cushions
  • Layers – you never know in MN!
  • Comfortable shoes
  • Water bottle
  • Extra hand sanitizer
  • Portable phone charge

Setup Times
Saturday, Sept. 25
Exhibitors load in at 7:30 a.m.
Exhibitors be ready for guests by 9:45 a.m.

Sunday, Sept. 26
Exhibitors load in at 8:30 a.m.
Exhibitors be ready for guests by 10:15 a.m.

Can I drive up next to my space to unload?
Sorry, but you cannot drive your car up near your space this year to unload. Tents will be going up and your car will not be able to get out.

Parking
Exhibitors should not park in the main guest parking lot. Please see directions for alternative parking. See directions and where to park here.


Can I setup early?

You can come early if you want to see the lay of the land. Setting up early could be possible if you have a location inside an exhibit cage or in the Heritage building. Leaving items overnight is at your own risk. The Pay Gap Festival is not responsible for the security of any setup left overnight.

 

Packing Up
You need to take everything you brought in home with you. That also includes empty boxes. Spaces need to be empty when you exit.

Electricity ($50) Pop-up tent and 8′ table options do not include electricty. If you need it you will need to add it as additional.

Support gender equity in the arts by tipping performers with cash or digitally. Performances on stage in the amphitheater and at the Twin Cities Pride Circle in the marketplace. These local and national talent are 100% worth it.

COMMUNITY FOOD FUND
Bring non-perishable food donations to help keep Twin Cities food shelves stocked. Look for the FINNEGANS green reverse food truck to drop off your donation.

SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES

SHOP, SIP, EAT – LOCAL
Shop, sip and eat from local vendors in the marketplace. It not only supports small BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and WOMAN OWNED businesses in the Twin Cities, but doing so reduces your environmental impact.

BID FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE

SILENT AND LIVE AUCTION
Proceeds raised from the auctions will fund
WoMN ACT, Twin Cities Pride and the
FINNEGANS Community Food Fund. The live auction will happen at the festival on stage at 1:50 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25 and 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26. Everyone is welcome to bid. If you know your max bid and would like someone to bid on your behalf email hello@rockwhatyougotlive.com
The online silent auction will close Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021. People with the winning bid will be notified in the next business days about how to obtain items.
