Are you passonate about gender equality?
Rock What You Got is a social enterprise dedicated to promoting gender equality by elevating women’s* voices in business, entertainment, and community. Our goal is to put all kinds of women* in the spotlight to celebrate, educate, connect and inspire people everywhere.
Rock What You Got is our anthem call for everyone to embrace their uniqueness and encourage others to do the same – without apology and without guilt.
*Including all BIPOC, non-binary, and transgender women.
We are committed to:
Fair and equitable pay
As a company that promotes gender equality, it’s extremely imprortant to us that we provide fair and equitable pay to all our employees and anyone we work with.
Diversity and Inclusivity
We believe diversity and inclusivity is essential to accomplishing our mission of promoting gender equality by elevating women’s voices. Equality cannot truly be attained without the voices and perspectives of BIPOC, non-binary, and transgender women.
We recognize that white cisgender women far too often dominate the microphone in feminist spaces. That is why we are committed to hiring and working with people of all backgrounds and perspectives.
Supporting Women and BIPOC Owned Businesses
We are committed to supporting women and BIPOC owned businesses. Our goal is to exclusively buy from and do business with businesses owned and operated by women and BIPOC by 2025.
Giving back to the Community
We are part of The Minnesota Keystone Program, which promotes corporate philanthropy by recognizing and honoring companies that donate at least 2 percent of their pre-tax earnings to charitable organizations.
Additionally, we donate a portion of our ticket sales from each event to a different local non-profit organization selected by the Rock What You Got team. Recent non-profits our ticket sales have gone to support include the Second Harvest Heartland, Springboard for the Arts, Breaking Free, and Casa de Esperanza.
We are always looking
We are always in search of great talent who are social justice warriors, have a thirst for telling stories and who aren’t afraid to dig in and be a changemaker. We believe in giving people an opportunity to learn, experience and grow with us. There aren’t a lot of boundaries. If you are the type of person who has grit and determination and a quest for learning, this may be the home for you.
